TO ALL CHURCH/DEPARTMENTAL/ASSOCIATION SECRETARIES
Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus and greetings from Baptist House. This year, we will be celebrating our 140th Anniversary, with great thanks to God.
The 2017 BU Assembly will be held at Victory Ministries International Church, Gelvan Park, Port Elizabeth from 2-6 October. The keynote speaker will be Rev Paul Msiza, President of the Baptist World Alliance. We continue our thrust ‘United in Mission’ and will be focusing on reaching the 0-30 age group for Christ. The theme will, therefore, be “Of the Ages, for all Ages.”
Attached, please find the following:
1. BU Assembly registration forms. There are two forms, one for delegates requiring accommodation (R1 720 per person) and one for those who are arranging their own accommodation (R1 420 per person). Please complete the correct form. Please make extra registration forms as needed.
2. BU Assembly children’s registration form. A separate form must be completed for each child. Please make extra registration forms as needed.
In the event of any queries relating to registration, please contact Albert Hill at 082 410 5088.
We trust that your church will be represented at the Assembly and would like to appeal to financially strong churches to consider assisting a weaker church that cannot afford to send a delegate. Gifts can be sent to the Baptist Union and earmarked “Needy Assembly delegates”.
