The Baptist Union of Southern Africa recognises three colleges in South Africa – the Afrikaanse Baptistekerk Teologiese Seminarium, the Baptist Theological College and the Cape Town Baptist Seminary.
The colleges offer biblically based, relevant theological education, focusing on devotional integrity, practical competence and academic excellence. This is achieved by training the head, the heart and the hands to the glory of God.
Listen to what past students are saying:
“My time at Seminary has moulded me to be an effective contributor in the Church and wider community” (Mark Walters, Pastor, Grassy Park Baptist Church, Cape Town).
“My time at Seminary has adequately equipped me for the ministry to which God is leading me” (Bongang Lekoba, Pastor, Selebi-Phikwe Baptist Church, Botswana).
“Seminary has stretched me, my ideas, my views. I’ve learnt to think – mostly about graduating! I’ve learnt to trust God my Father as He applied His angle grinder to my life. I’m forever grateful to the lecturers for pouring into my life” (Matthew Francis, Pastor, Stirling Baptist Church, East London).
